What Makes Akaka Falls Special?

This is a state park situated on the slopes of Mauna Kea. A beautiful and picturesque stream feeds hundreds of waterfalls as it makes its way down to the ocean. Within the park, you will be able to observe a waterfall that is over 400’ tall from across a very deep gulch.
